About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Staten Island at 2883 Richmond Ave, Miller's Ale House is a vibrant American restaurant and sports bar that masterfully blends classic pub fare with a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are craving perfectly seasoned chicken wings, prime cuts of steak, or fresh seafood, Miller's Ale House consistently delivers dishes that satisfy both casual diners and discerning palates alike.

The moment you step inside, the energetic vibe created by dozens of strategically placed TVs ensures you won’t miss a single play of your favorite sports, while the warm, inviting bar area beckons for socializing over craft beers and expertly mixed sangrias. It’s no surprise that customers like Jenny Ross have marveled at the extensive sports coverage, mentioning how the environment makes it an ideal spot to enjoy games with friends or family.

The menu is a testament to hearty, flavorful American classics elevated with fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation. The ZINGERS® – Miller’s famous buttermilk-drenched, hand-breaded boneless chicken tenders – stand out as a crowd favorite, offered in a variety of sauces that cater to every heat preference, from mild to fiery. Blessed K. M.’s praise for the Zingers paired with mac and cheese highlights the rich, comforting quality of the dishes, which often leave guests savoring every bite.

Seafood lovers will find delight in the fried calamari and Atlantic salmon, both of which are prepared fresh and served with sides like creamy spinach mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables, creating a well-balanced plate that marries texture and taste beautifully. For those in the mood for something heartier, the prime rib and filet mignon offer tender, juicy cuts seasoned perfectly to draw out their natural flavors; not to be missed is the pork osso buco, lauded by regulars for its rich, meltingly tender meat that resonates comfort with every forkful.

Fans of classic pub fare will relish the Prime Burger or Classic Cheeseburger, layered with melted white American cheese, crisp lettuce, and ripe tomatoes, served alongside golden, well-seasoned fries that perfectly complement the meal. For those seeking an indulgent finish, the Ale House Sundae and Captain Jack's Buried Treasure cake slice are decadent desserts that deliver just the right balance of sweetness and satisfaction.

The dining experience here is both casual and accommodating. Michelle Grutman notes the abundance of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a breeze for walk-ins and large groups to enjoy the space without hassle. The staff’s attentiveness shines through in moments like those shared by K silly Di, where a quick remedy to a less-than-perfect honey mustard wing sauce ensured the meal remained enjoyable and satisfying. Cleanliness, quick service, and a menu with something for everyone are key elements consistently reaffirmed by guests such as Danielle Bourne.

From family brunches to sports-filled evenings, Miller’s Ale House delivers an authentic American dining experience with a warm neighborhood feel. Whether you're craving the spicy kick of hand-breaded chicken wings, the rich savoriness of prime rib, or simply a relaxed spot to catch the game with great food and drink, Miller’s Ale House stands as a reliable, flavor-packed destination in Staten Island.

Miller's is a bit old school but the food and service never disappoints. My Caesar salad was well dressed! Most places splash your salad with dressing. My zinger mac and cheese was so good I forgot to take a pic. I once had a Niçoise salad there, SO GOOD! Best I've had at a restaurant. The fries are well seasoned and zingers are good. The osso bucco is good as well. Honestly they are a bit better than .

This is one awesome sports bar, TVs everywhere, they had hockey on-screen, too! I took my mother there for brunch and everything was excellent - my mother was very happy. We are definitely going back there.

Millers is giving the consumers what they want on many fronts. The place has tons of seating indoors and outdoors so walk ins are are easily seated and big groups are easily accommodated. They always have the latest sports games and martial arts with dozens of tvs at all angles. They do really good specials for football like discounts on wings and beer buckets. You cannot beat their five dollar house margarita and five dollar 23 oz beers. You will not find better bartenders and drinks for this value anywhere else in SI. For chicken wings, four drinks, a burger and chicken sandwich we only paid 77 bucks and their tablets on the table make ordering and paying the bill super fast and easy with a credit card. The menu has good wing choices, good salads and soups and good seafood and chicken dishes. I am a big fan of their zingers, traditional wings and burgers. You can get pork dishes too for $20 or a classic cheeseburger for only $10! However I am dissatisfied with their big hot chicken sandwich. Its a big chicken cutlet that had little cheese on it and 0 sauce, meanwhile they advertise it as having hot buffalo sauce on it in photos. I had to ask for buffalo sauce on the side. The portion was good though and the fries were a 10/10 , their seasoning is unique and the fries are super crispy with no oil. I also appreciate the good service with our waitress Sarah she constantly asked if we needed anything with a smile. I also appreciated the late hours this place operates, you never feel rushed to get out of there . I highly recommend this place to everyone.

The place was not busy it was Thursday late afternoon. The chicken wings were amazing with 3 choices of sauce. Honey mustard, that's chili and bbq peach. The first batch of honey mustard was watery, but the young lady exchanged it for us, so it became perfect. I had the iron flat with fried shrimp with mash potato as a side and steamed veggies. All good except for the gravy which I found was salty. My husband had the ribeye, baked potato and a salad, he was very happy with his meal. The environment was great not so loud and the server was amazing she was attentive to our needs she kept checking on us.

We arrived in NY from CO after midnight. Seeking a [local] restaurant that was still serving, and found Miller's. What a wonderful place! I had the snow crab legs with mac & cheese & house made kettle chips, my husband had the Zingers salad. The food was wonderful! Our waitress Rosemarie was so lovely .. She was friendly, personable and attentive. The place is much bigger than we had anticipated. Lots of seating & tons of televised sports. Loved this place!
